Meghan Markle's Vogue photo shoot inside Frogmore home - and why she won't be on cover

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, will feature in September's issue of Vogue magazine and she will also write a number of pieces about causes close to her heart

Meghan Markle will invite photographers into her Frogmore Cottage home for a shoot for Vogue magazine.

The Duchess of Sussex will reportedly pose for snaps in the newly renovated house she shares with Prince Harry and Baby Archie for the September edition.

The new mum will also write about subjects close to her heart for the issue, reports the Sun .

But royal fans will be disappointed to learn Harry and Archie will not feature in the snaps, which will focus "purely on women’s empowerment".

Meghan will be in the British edition of the magazine, despite earlier reports she would be in the American version.

She has reportedly arranged it directly with editor Edward Enninful, rather than the US boss Anna Wintour.

A magazine source told the Sun : "Meghan is going to write a piece on causes such as female empowerment and women’s education.

"Edward has been courting her since day one. Anna is massively miffed that she’s missed out.

"This is nothing to do with Archie, or family, or home life. It’s purely on women’s empowerment."

However Meghan reportedly does not want to be on the cover.

The Duchess appeared on the cover on Vanity Fair shortly after he relationship with Prince Harry became public knowledge.

Her sister-in-law the Duchess of Cambridge featured on Vogue's cover for its 100th edition in a collaboration with the National Portrait Gallery.

She posed for a number of photos in the Norfolk countryside, dressed casually and looking happy and relaxed.
